The OST Advantage
OST is an acronym for Out-of-School-Time, used for the time children can spend productively, namely after school. After school presents strategic OST learning opportunities for children to engage in educational activities; enter STEAM. STEAM after-school programs help students learn in ways different than traditional school settings—the children are in such awe and enjoyment that they do not know they’re learning! That’s part of the reason the A was added in STEM; to encourage Children to be creative and explore their imagination.
